This unit forms the entry stage and allows practitioners to evaluate their brand and develop specific areas of the brand before a period of development, for presentation of the brand in an event of their choice towards the end of the diploma.
Artists will deconstruct their current brand. They will analyse materials and assets in relation to the proposed market place they intend to enter. Then they will undertake a range of feedback opportunities with industry professionals to help them develop their own brand and understand it in the marketplace. Finally, they will reconstruct their own brand using what they have learned.
